    Note: The letter is an invoice for 8 barrels of Caviar from Taganrog, Russia; issued from Constantinople. Strangely, the Lloyd Office mailed the letter through the Consular Office.

Struck on arrival in Triest with fine two line COL VAPORE / D'ALESSANDRIA (Tchilinghirian fig. 82) in black and charged '9' kreuzer, the rate from Corfu. The earliest recorded usage of this Agenzia marking, a fine and rare cover. Signed Zanetti.
