Catalogue# : V211866 (Feb 15): Cover from Janina to Trieste franked by delightful usage of Levant 1864 5 s. rose, perf. 9½ in a vertical strip of three and a vertical pair all tied by JANINA datestamps in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 509). Triest arrival on reverse of a fine franking pre-paying the Levant rate (20 s.) and 5 s. for the postage within Austria. Central stamp with file fold but a rare cover of most delightful appearance.
