Crete-Allied Intervention. 1897 (Sept 28): Turkey 20 pa. claret postal stationery card used to Fiume cancelled by HANIA datestamp, written from a member of the Austrian Contingent on 'S.M.S.Tiger', which arrived at Suda Bay in March 1897, after peace-keeping duties it left Crete in April 1898; another card from the Austrian Contingent from a seaman on the 'S.M.S. Maria Theresa', and two further cards from Hania from the German Contingent, one from the German Crusiser 'Augusta' and the other from the Battleship 'Oldenburg'.
