    1839 (Sept 11): Entire letter from Salonica to Trieste struck with straight line SALONICH handstamp in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 593), with fine circular NETTO DI FUORI ET DI DENTRO disinfection cachet applied at Semlin in black alongside. Triest arrival (Sept 25) on reverse in red and charged 12 kreuzer in manuscript. First year of use of the Salonich handstamp.
