    1698/1848: The collection of sea mail (25 covers) from Constantinople covering a 200 year period, with 1698 entire forwarded in Livorno to Venice (very early Forwarding Agent), 1733 entire to Venice marked 'via Corfu', 1736 entire to Marseille forwarded by Palm Brothers in Vienna, 1749 Austrian and Venetian post covers,1782 disinfected entire with red Semlin seal, 1786 entire with 'v.t.s. - P.F.A.' (Amalric) Forwarding Agent handstamp in black applied in Geneva, 1801 entire addressed to Nicholas Clary (Louis Napoleon's father-in-law), 1801 entire to Saxony, 1805 entire to Spain, 1820 cover to Amsterdam, 1824/28 covers (4) to Belgium, 1839 and 1841 covers with CONSTANTINOPEL (Tchlilinghirian 383) in black etc. A marvelous lot.
