    Austrian Post Offices / Crimean War 1855: Civilian cover from Giurgevo to Pest, franked with Austrian 1850/54 3 kr. red, four single examples and a pair, fair to large margins all round, tied by "GIURGEVO 13/8" (1855) cds in black (Müller 3441a = 1275 points; Tchilinghirian fig. 748), one stamp by single line "RECOM:", reverse with "Gereinigt b. K.K. Rastelamte ALT-ORSOVA 15/8 1855" quarantine cds and Pesth arrival cds (18/9). Rastel punch holes in two stamps, horizontal fold through the pair and cover refolded at base and at left, but an exceedingly rare registered multiple franking. The Giurgevo datestamp was intended for the Consular P.O. in 1854 and was used thereafter as a canceller in the sedentary Fieldpost office situated there from February 1855 without showing any Fieldpost related information.     Russian Post Offices 1850: Cover from Bucharest to Kiril, Patriarch of Jerusalem, present at a monastery in Constantinople, struck with very clear strike of Cyrillic two line dated "BUCHAREST/ 18 NOVEMBER 1850" handstamp of despatch in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 31) and rated on obverse '2/20' (2 piastres, 20 paras) in manuscript.     Ship Mail on the lower Danube: Russia Arms definitive 1 kop. orange (2) and 2 kop. green, tied by „ISMAIL BESSAR. 17 VIII 1903“ to Odessa picture postcard, sent to Tulcea Romania with arrival cds alongside (1 SEP. 03).     1862/64: United Principalities, Printed from Plates, 3 pa. orange, 6 pa. carmine, and 30 pa. blue, showing colour varieties, primarily in units such as blocks of four and up to complete printing sheets of 35 showing the orientation of the stamps turned sideways in the middle row and the central tête-bêche pair.
