    Austrian Post Offices 1853: Entire letter from Galatz to Cerigo, Ionian Islands with GALLATZ / 20 OCT. datestamp of despatch in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 741), thence via Czernowitz with italic two line transit (25/10) in black, Krakau cds (30/10), Trieste framed datestamp (2/11) in black and circular CORFU cds in black (Nov 7). Disinfected with rastel punches and rates incl. '18/9' (kreuzers, by land and sea) and charged '½' (pence) due upon receipt for local delivery.  Most unusual destination for Romanian Mail of this date.
