    1916 (May 5): Zeppelin LZ 85. The exhibit collection of postcards (52, all different) and articles relating to only the second Zeppelin shot down by the Allies during the War, with postcards (some produced within a fortnight of the crash), showing the crash site, the moving and eventual reconstruction of the LZ85 - all debris was collected and re-assembled by, amongst others, Barnes Wallis who used the Zeppelin form in his design for the Wellington bomber -  and also the other aeroplanes shot down over Salonica; also the HMS Agamemnon which brought it down, the scenic pictures of crowds visiting the site, the captured crew etc. A marvellous and most interesting collection.     1929 (June 7): Postcard from Italian Airforce Trial Flight (to Athens, Istanbul, Varna, Odessa and Constanta), bearing the special perforated coloured label prepared for the Turkish leg 'Crociera Aviatoria Mediterraneo Orientale', overlapped by 1926 1 k. and 6 k. and 1929 20 pa. on 1 k. all tied by 'Therapia' cds's in black.     1926/28: Aero Espresso Italiana collection on Exhibit leaves, the superbly written up collection showing the link between Italy and Istanbul via Athens, with Aug 1, 1926 advert card used, First Flight (Aug  8) cover from Brindisi to Constantinople and return flight (Aug 15), further early flights to Turkey with one showing Airmail 1 lire 20 c. brown, covers from the Greek leg with 1926 Airmail usages (incl. a mint set and 1933 set used) and Metelino-Cosp flight covers (2, plus a return flight), 1930 link to Imperial Airways with reg'd cover ex New Zealand, A.E.I. labels, Airmail label sheet, and original 1926 Booklet for the new service, Winter time-table for 1933/34 etc..
