    1911/12: Italian Propaganda Leaflet printed in arabic air-dropped over Berber tribesmen in Libya during 1912, dated at Tripoli (Trablusgarb) in January 1912 and believed to have been first dropped in December 1912. Note: This War was the first in which powered aircraft were used for reconnaissance, bombing and the dropping of propaganda leaflets. Ex collection Bill Robertson.
