1848: 10d. brown Embossed from the 1862 re-issue print run, Die 2, a superb cut-square example in vivid colour, large margins at base and left, enormous top right corner sheet margin (10 & 5 mm.), cancelled by "WC / 20" in bars handstamp, on envelope with full contents, directed to Sialkot, Punjab, the cover endorsed "via Marseilles". Reverse with "CHARING CROSS WC JU 18 63" despatch, BOMBAY transit (July 9, 63) and SEALKOTE arrival (July 18, 63) cds's, all in red. Some wrinkles do not distract from this exceptional late usage of the Embossed 10d. adhesive in the June 1863 rate, in addition a splendid corner marginal example. Certs. E.
