    1841: 1d. red-brown on bluish, plate 12, lettered FJ, an exceptional example with large to enormous margins including parts of three neighbouring stamps, cancelled by black MC, on entire letter written in Glendearg to Edinburgh. Reverse with framed GALASHIELS despatch datestamp (July 20, 1843) in red and arrival cds of the next day in black. Attractive usage.
