    1840: 1d. black, plate 1b, lettered DA, a fine example with fair to huge margins and a large sheet margin at left showing no inscription at the height of the fourth row, merely tied by black MC to cover from Sunning Hill to Bagshot, Surrey. The obverse is struck by a superb "SUNNING HILL" handstamp without date in black, reverse with CHERTSEY transit cds (Sept 28, 1840). Horizontal file fold well away from adhesive and postmarks, an attractive usage, cert. Raybaudi (1989).
