    1841: 1d. red-brown on blue paper, Plate 85, lettered CL, a superb example with good to huge margins, tied by crisp numeral '784' in bars of Tenby, on envelope directed to Leicester. Reverse with double-ring TENBY despatch cds (Nov 11, 1949) in blue, red transit and blue LEICESTER arrival cds's of the next day. A gorgeous cover of utmost attractiveness, a rare 1844-type cancellation in blue, cert RPS (1987).
