The cover re-addressed on arrival to Rome, Italy (a rare destination for Ceylon mail of this period) via Marseilles (July 5), with 'Roma / Via di Mare' arrival on reverse (July 8). Again re-addressed to Watford with both London and Watford datestamp (July 24).
