    1863/66: 1 d. deep blue, wmk. Crown CC, with 1861/64 1 s. slate-violet used with on 1868 cover from Nuwara Ellia to Leamington, UK endorsed 'via Marseilles', tied by barred oval obliterators in black. Reverse with NUWARA ELLIA despatch cds in red (Nov 15), GALLE / PAID cds in red (Nov 17) and Leamington arrival cds in black (Dec 14). Small imperfections but a scarce and attractive cover.
