Endorsed via 'Hambro & Sons, London' and, on entry struck with framed LIVERPOOL / SHIP datestamp in black (Jan 11, 1851). On arrival in London (Jan 13, 1851) the 8d. Ship fee was paid with "C.I.HAMBRO & SON / LONDON" cachet applied in black. Mailed on via Prussia with blue '6½' silvergroschen charge on reverse and red 'Aus England / Per Aachen' in red with Hamburg transit in blue (Jan 15). Eventually charged "29" skilling due upon receipt on reverse. An unusual double Forwarded cover.
