    1878/79: Dom Pedro 80 r. lake in a horizontal pair, used with 1884/85 20 r. slate green vertical pair on cover to Ellsworth, Me., USA tied by Rio de Janeiro datestamps (July 30) in black. Reverse of envelope with imprinted 'Flagship Lancaster' in blue: the USS Lancaster was Flagship of the South Atlantic squadron and part New York / Paid All. A charming cover.
