    1850: 180 r. black and 1854 10 r. blue, each with good to large margins all round, used on 1863 cover endorsed 'per Carmel' (French Paquebot) to Buenos Aires, tied by "Correio Geral da Corte" cds (Nov 22) in black. Framed 'P.P.' in red at left, a scarce franking: the 190 reis rate was introduced in 1860. Cert. Moorhouse (2013).
