    1850: 60 r. black, a sheet marginal vertical pair with large margins all round and portion of adjoining stamps at left, used on reverse of  6 July 1866 entire letter from Rio Grande to Manchester, tied by Rio Grande Do Sul cds in black. Underpaid - the letter being despatched just five days after the rate increase to 200 reis, and struck with oval framed INSUFFICIENTE in red. Carried by French Steamer 'Navarre' and struck with framed 'FR / 2F 95c.' Accountancy marking in black. London transit cds (Aug 19) in red and Manchester arrivals on front and charged 1/6d. due to pay.
