    1850: 30 r. black, a used horizontal pair with clear to large margins all round, tied to reverse of 1853 entire letter to Rio de Janeiro by fine strike of circular CORREIO DA VILLA DE AREIAS handstamp in black (Ayres fig. 1597) with cruciform manuscript date (Oct 2) inserted. Scarce and attractive entire.
