Further strike of despatch at right and cover crossed to denote pre-payment with correponding black 'P.D.' on front. Reverse with Vienna transit cds (25/5) and Milan arrival cds (May 27).     1867/74: 2 soldi yellow, 10 s. blue (3, one on reverse for registration) and 50 kr. brown (6 examples), all used on wonderful registered cover to Ferrara, Italy at 14 times the 23 soldi rate via Brindisi, tied by seven strikes of the CONSTANTINOPEL datestamp (Sept 8) well struck in black. Five further strikes of italic 'Chargé' handstamps and framed RECOM./No. at top. The cover, whilst endorsed 'via Varna' travelled via Brindisi, the single 23 soldi rate x 14 = 322 soldi correct franking + 10 soldi for registration, with '14' in manuscript at top right of cover. Small part of lower right corner of cover missing and small tear well away from the adhesives at right but a beautiful and stunning franking of great importance. Signed Raybaudi. Cert. E.
