1860 (Feb 22): Entire letter, written in German from Targuljiu to the Swiss merchant Andreas Frank in Bucharest with blue sender's cachet at upper left and superb strike of the extremely rare two line dated "TARGUJIU" handstamp (the latest recorded date of use) in black (Kiriac fig. 255). Reverse with fine strike of small two line dated "BUCURESTI" arrival (Kiriac fig. 238). A fine and very rare entire "the finest of the four covers I have had for certification" states Heimbüchler on certificate (2010). 1853 (April 26): Large part cover from Tirgoviste sent registered to Bucharest with superb strike of two line dated "TIRGOVISTE" handstamp in black (Kiriac fig. 254) with manuscript "No. 2" above and part red crayon 'Paid' cross on front panel. 1857 (Aug 20): Entire letter, written in Hebrew, from Turnu to Bucharest with fine strike of two line dated (smaller handstamp, Type I) "TURNU" in black (Kiriac fig. 256). 1861 (Nov 1): Registered entire letter from Turnu to Bucharest, struck with superb impression of large (Type II, later than the reccorded date in Dragomir Kiriac) two line dated handstamp of "TURNU" in blue (Kiriac fig. 257). The entire also shows docketing for registration "No. 4" and complete rate paid "Lei 2, Parale 8" at top (88 parale)-breakdown as follows: 11 post-stages at 4 pa. each = 44 pa. + registration of 44 pa. = 88 parale. 1859 (June 23): Entire letter from Zimnicea to Bucharest struck with excellent impression of the large (Type II, the earliest recorded date of use) two line dated "ZIMNICEA" handstamp in deep blue (Kiriac fig. 259). 1862: Entire letters (2) to Bucharest, each carried at the newly introduced (May 1, 1862) rate tariff of 30 parale for ½ ounce (16 grams), with stampless entire letter cancelled "ZIMNICEA" datestamp (July 6) and framed "P.P." in black and a similar prepaid entire letter with "OLTENITA" datestamp (July 17) and framed "P.P." struck in blue. Both the letters being crossed in crayon to denote pre-payment and both marked in crayon "fr. 30". (Kiriac fig. 346 and 360). 1856 (Oct 13): Entire letter, unusually written in German (and the only recorded thus), mailed from Bacau to the Central Telegraph Office in Jassy, with interesting content "die hochverehrte Direktion möge ihm die längst fälligen 35 Galben (Gold Ducats) für seine ausgeführten Aufträge ausbezahlen" and struck with superb impression of framed "FRANKO" handstamp of Bacau (Kiriac fig. 205) in blue-black ink. 1858: 27 parale black on rose horizontally laid paper, a fresh mint example, unused without gum, of delightful appearance and very fine impression, with large margins all round. Slight repair to the paper on reverse but an exceptional example of this great classic rarity, with just 14 examples recorded in unused condition, of which three are housed in museum collections.
