5 c. purple-brown / claret, Second Stone, the extraordinary mint block of eight with the seventh stamp showing the "fingerprint" flaw, Hugo Goeggel proving by a single mint example, that this flaw emanates from the base of the sheet, between positions 47-55. The block is of excellent colour and with large part original gum and exceedingly rare - the largest and only known unused multiple on wove paper. Exhibit item.
Note: the late Dieter Bortfeldt attributes this to the First Stone but the colour appears to decry this.Starting bid : 2,000 CHFHammer price : 4,200 CHFLot# : 4082 Colombia
