    Santa Fé de Bogotá-La Plata-Popayan-Quito Route 1806 (Oct 28): Prepaid entire letter from Mercaderes to Popayan, distance 30 leagues / 160 kms., struck with superb impression of the MERCADERES handstamp in black (Tizon 1 = RRR) with small FRANCA handstamp at right (Tizon 3 = RRR). Rated "1½" reales for a single letter under ½ ounce. A fine and very rare entire.
