    1859 (Sept 19): 20 c. blue, First Stone, large margins on three sides (sheet marginal at top), used on 1859 entire letter from Cali to Bogotá, cancelled by large part CALI oval in blue (with the 'Franca' removed); entire clearly dated inside, the rate being for a double letter travelling up to 450 km. One of the earliest covers known bearing a Colombia adhesive, five being recorded used in the first month, this being the earliest usage of the 20 centavos adhesive. A rarity, illustrated in Colombia Philatelic Handbook on page 6a. Cert. Moorhouse (2012).
