1852/1977: Collection in two Lindner stock-books with quite large selection of classics in mixed condition, but mostly expertized with many certificates, this concerns also the overprints 'OFFICIEL' and 'S.P', the 20 century is well represented with most issues including souvenir sheet 'Birth of Princess Elisabeth' 1923 unmounted. The following issues often used and unused, sometimes in blocks of 4 or on cover or FDC. Better souvenir sheets, sometimes present multiple times. 1831: Cover sent from Walachia, Romania to Kragujevac, Serbia, dated 12 March 1831, addressed to Prince Miloš Obrenović, the letter crossing the border into Serbia being disinfected at Porec Quarantine station, manuscript endorsement to reverse 'Preslo preko Kontumaca Poreckog / 11 Marta 831' ('Passed via Contumacy Porec / 11 March 831'); Porec was established as a quarantine station in the Principality of Serbia operating for just six months in 1831; clean outer letter sheet, rare.rnNote: Miloš Obrenović (1780 to 1860), also known as Miloš the Great, was the Prince of Serbia on two occassions, 1815 to 1839, and 1858 to 1860. During the first Serbian uprising he was an eminent figure and the leader of the Second Serbian uprising. 1850: 6 cs. black, plate 2, used famous block of fifty (10 x 5), all cancelled by spider handstamps in black, described by Griebert and assigned by Ruiz de Arcaute to the Composition A, type I, placing it in the lower left part of the sheet, a few imperfections as would be expected, attached to card with notes on reverse indicating positions, touching in a few places although incredibly margins nearly all round, extremely fresh printing, very clean and crisp, this being the largest recorded used block from plate 2, an exhibition item of the greatest significance.
