    1841/1902: Group of thirty covers and twenty postcards relating to Russia, including 1841 stampless letter from Odessa to Livorno with DDSG cancellation Danube River; 1875 cover from Moscow to Constantinople via Odessa with blue 'ROPIT' arrival mark; also 1902 cover to Thessaloniki with strip of five 1 l. stamps with arrival 'ROPIT THESSALONIKI' in violet. Majority of the items (14) relate to money transfer via Odessa to the orthodox monasteries at Mount Athos.
