    1850: 6 cs. black, plate 2, used famous block of fifty (10 x 5), all cancelled by spider handstamps in black, described by Griebert and assigned by Ruiz de Arcaute to the Composition A, type I, placing it in the lower left part of the sheet, a few imperfections as would be expected, attached to card with notes on reverse indicating positions, touching in a few places although incredibly margins nearly all round, extremely fresh printing, very clean and crisp, this being the largest recorded used block from plate 2, an exhibition item of the greatest significance.
