    1866/71: 12 c. lilac, perf. 10, a single example used on 1875 cover from Georgetown to Halifax, Nova Scotia tied by superb strike of the "Georgetown / A03 " PAID 4" triplex (Oct 6) with thick '4' in red (Proud A7). Reverse with 'St. Thomas' British P.O. transit cds (Oct 14) and 'Halifax / NS' arrival (Oct 24) both in black.     1876/76: 6 c. ultramarine, perf. 15, a fine single example used on 1876 entire letter from Georgetown to Perkins, Bacon & Co. in London endorsed 'Per Direct Steamer Para', tied by good strike of the rare "1½ / A03" accountancy duplex handstamp in red (Proud A5), recorded in use for less than one year only. Reverse with double ring 'George-Town / B. Guiana' cds (Aug 16), fine 'Plymouth / Ship Letter' in black (Sept 5) and London arrival in red. The letter concerns the printing of banknotes - "some of the $100 notes were far too thin..". File fold but very scarce.
