    1901: ¼ d. on 1 s. dull grey or bluish grey, the collection with a complete sheet with all four panes from Plate "1", serial number "31", unused and showing the positions of the Plate varieties including the broken "G" found in the last vertical row (FARTHINC error), three unused examples with SPECIMEN overprint, 1901 cover to Halifax with four examples incl. a broken "G", registered 1901 cover to London with a block of twelve, usage on Newspaper wrapper and a three colour franking to New York etc. A fine lot Gi = £ 1'500+.rnrnProvenance: Collection R.W.
