    1865: De La Rue Plate Proof, 1 d. rose-red in an imperforate block of four on glazed white card paper, marginal from left of sheet with good margins all round, overprinted CANCELLED in black (Samuel Type D11), it is believed a pane or sheet of this imperforate was produced especially for the 1872 South Kensington Exhibition.
