    1825 (March 25): Entire letter to a Lieutenant in the Swiss Guard  in Paris, struck with superb un-framed "Schwitz" handstamp in black (Winkler 3529), and taxed '8' kreuzer as far as Basel, Huningue entry marking in black. Readdressed on arrival to Naterre and struck with two line "Déboursés / Bau. De La Cour" in red on reverse.

    1829/33: Entire letters (6), all to Turin to a Swiss Soldier serving in the 1st Regiment of the Brigade of Savoy for the Kings of Sardinia, all struck with "BRIG" despatch handstamps, transits of Domodossola two line datestamp or Arona straight line (4) handstamps in black. Condition varies but a scarce group.

    1757 (Jan 10): Entire letter from Namur to Duebendorf, Zurich during the Seven Years War, from Von Stockar's Comany in Bouquet's Regiment; struck with "NAMUR" handstamp in black, somewhat indistinct, and endorsed "frco. F.furt" at lower left, charged 19 kreuzer due in red crayon manuscript with '7' on reverse. Rare.

    1762 (Feb 14): Seven Years War entire letter from "Ham in Westphalien", to Captain Poult of Sprecher's Grisons Regiment in Zoutz, written in French with fascinating content concerning writer's wounds etc., without postal marks but with complete wax seal on reverse; and 1773 entire letter from Maastricht endorsed "frco. Francfort" mailed to Zoutz via Chur and charged 16 kreuzer due.

    1769 (Nov 6): Entire letter with three pages of contents and still containing two Gold clips, written from Neuwied to Captain Poult of Schmid's Grisons Regiment in garrison at Maastricht, endorsed "frco. Cologne"  and "Imprimés" at lower left. The outer envelope somewhat battered but a rare entire with all enclosures intact, weighing over 30 grams and being charged 8 kreuzer in manuscript on reverse.

    1779 (Dec 2): Entire letter from Neuweid to Vlissingen, Netherlands endorsed "frco. Cologne", addressed to Captain Poult in the serivce of Schmid's Grisons Regiment, in Dutch service in Garrison at Vlissingen, charged "XII" stuyvers due in red crayon on arrival.

Cologne" to Grave. Fine and scarce pair.

    1727: Long entire letter from Paris with listing of Officers and Deserters in and from Courten's Regiment enclosed in distressed outer cover endorsed "port Payé" at top, struck with intaglio pre-paid marking in black of Paris, and addressed to Sion "par Pontarlier". An extraordinary document.
