    1872 (Dec 30): Cover from Brussels to Nova Scotia, Canada franked by 1869 30 c. brown-orange pair paying pre UPU rate in full, mailed via London with red 'Paid' cds and "1½" rate split handstamp in red and manuscript '4' charge to collect on arrival (Jan 13). Slight tear in face panel and flap missing on reverse but a rare destination at this date.

    1921: King Albert I (Type Montenez) 1 Fr. orangebrown, a very rare proof sheet showing five stamps in a horiz. line, printed on original paper from the copper plate engraving by Joh. Enschede & Zonen, the sheet shows a pencil manuscript mark 'No. XXX' at bottom, a rare item in very good condition, according to the collector, this sheet never seen at public auction nor has it been shown at any exhibition.
