The adhesive with four margins, the Mulready with some aging and small central file fold and stain from red wax seal. Reverse with (probable) 'Worthing' despatch cds in black and London transit cds (July 15) in red. Despite the minor imperfections a rare and most attractive usage.

    1857/76: Small group on Exhibit leaves with Malta 1857 cover bearing GB strip of three 1 d. red tied 'M' in bars, 1860 2 d. and 4 d. carmine on cover to Naples tied Malta duplexes, 1871 cover with four 1 d. red tied 'Malta / A25' duplexes, 1875 cover with 2½ d. mauve pl. 1 on cover to Livorno, 1876 covers from Constantinople and Beirut, and Insufficiently prepaid cover from Buenos Aires with pair of 4 d. vermilion cancelled 'B32'. Generally fine, a good lot (14 items).
