    2 d. blue imperforate, lettered IC used on 1857 cover to Annonay, France in combination with 1855/57 2 d. blue, wmk. Large Crown, perf. 14, lightly tied by '689' obliterators of Sawbridgeworth in black. Reverse with despatch cds (Oct 27), front with Calais transit (Oct 29). Slight vertical file fold through the perf. 2 d. and addressee's name erased in manuscript, but an extremely rare perf. / imperf. combination cover.
