    1 d. black, Plate 1b, vertical pair lettered PG/PH, separated between by horizontal scissor cut, each stamp with four margins in a deep rich shade, tied by neat Maltese Crosses in red to 1840 cover from Esher (Sept 10) to London. File folds well away from adhesives but a fine double rate usage. Cert. Nussbaum (19170).
