    1840/1955: Lot 28 used/unused stamps and two covers with interesting items such as 1851 2 d. violet blue used, QV embossed 1847/54 with 1 s. deep-green in horizontal pair, cancelled by two strikes of numeral oval '447' of Leeds, two covers with 6 d. mauve & 1 s. green to Philadelphia and 10 d. to Paris, as well as 1880 definitives ½ d. to 6 d., nice lot.
