    1841: 1 d. rd-brown from black plate 8, lettered MH, used on 1 d. Mulready wrapper (stereo A7) addressed to London, tied by both black Maltese Cross and some aging, the Mulready also correctly cancelled by black Maltese Cross on the Britannia. Reverse with 'Dudley' despatch cds in black (Oct 13) and London arrival cds in red (Oct 14). Some overall aging but a rare and attractive usage.
