Reverse with Barranquilla datestamp in violet. A few imperfections but a rare cover - the only known letter from this April 17, 1920 Flight.
    Note: The pilot of the "Cartagena" Farman Aeroplane on this flight was Mr. Jourdanet. He was to die in a crash in this plane 12 days later (April 29).

Scarce and most unusual cover.
    Note: Law 60 of 1922 stated that a commission of economic consultants, under Professor Kemmerer of Princeton University, was established in Bogotá in order to organise the Central Bank. The members of the Commission enjoyed a free franking privelege from Scadta.
