Scarce and most unusual cover.
Note: Law 60 of 1922 stated that a commission of economic consultants, under Professor Kemmerer of Princeton University, was established in Bogotá in order to organise the Central Bank. 1921: Incoming cover from New York to Medellín under the 'two cover system', franked on departure with 1920 SCADTA 30 c. black on rose initialled "G. Mejía" in red ink and 1920 Colombia 1 c. green and 1917 2 c. carmine-rose, the 30 c. tied in transit at Barranquilla with "SOCIEDAD COLOMBO-ALEMANA / DE / TRANSPORTES AEREOS / Compania Anónima" in black and the definitives tied on arrival in Medellín (circa Oct 17).
