    Scadta 1923: Consular Surcharges, the small balance on leaves with "D" (Denmark) with mint examples (6) showing three different Types, used examples (8); France "F" 8mm surcharge in black (8 stamps mint); Great Britain with "G.B." surcharges in black (11 stamps), red surcharge (9 stamps), violet surcharge (2); Peru "PE" surcharge on complete set of 12 mint; USA with handstamped surcharge (6.5mm) in black or violet (25 stamps); Venezuela "V" with 18 stamps mint or used. Hingeing problems on some but a rare group (99 stamps).
