1858 (Oct 3): 27 pa. black on pale rose, horizontally laid paper, circular frame line clear all round, a cut round example of exceptional freshness used on cover to Jassy tied by "BAKEU" blue double circle cds (Oct 3). Manuscript red crayon cross on front denotes full pre-payment to destination. Jassy arrival cds in red (Oct 5) on reverse. The cachet BAKEU is exceptionally clearly struck, a minor imperfection in the envelope well clear of the adhesive is of no relevance to this exceptional and very attractive piece.
