    1852: 5 c. black and 20 c. blue, fine used examples with large margins, tied by two strikes of a mute canceller to 1853 cover from Nice to Antibes. Double circle NIZZA MARITIMA despatch (Aug 24) struck alongside, with indistinct red transit and PD also in red. Antibes arrival on reverse. A fine and scarce franking. Certificate Bottacchi (2001) Sassone = € 14'000.
