    1859 (Aug 1): ½ gr. orange, plate 1, horizontal pair from pos. 22 & 23 with enormous margins, used in combination with 5 gr. 'carmine' from pos. 49 of plate I, and 10 gr. 'indigo' from pos. 5 of plate I, four fresh and fine examples with good to huge margins all round, tied by three strikes of 'ferro di cavallo' handstamp, two line 'MESSINA / 1 AGOSO' despatch handstamp alongside, to entire letter to Napoli.  Red Naples arrival (Aug 2). Minor file fold well away from the adhesives, an attractive and unusual three colour combination of great freshness. Signed A. Diena. Certs.
