One of only four carried, signed by the pilot Nevill Vincent on front.

    1935: Composite stamp size Essays for the Pictorial Issue (8), submitted by Bradbury Wilkinson for proposed 2 c. - 50 c. values, using the three quarter profile picture of George V (unadopted), imperforate on cards with head-plate printed in various colours and the pictorial vignettes, CEYLON and value tablets all entirely hand-painted in difffering colours each with frame surround in black.     1934 (Dec 21): De La Rue Appendix sheet for the Silver Jubilee Issue, with Imperforate Die Proofs of the frames and value tablet only for all four values engraved in black, with manuscript "App(roved) for Dis(tribution) 22/12" in ink at right. Slight crease not affecting the dramatic appearance of these rare Proofs. Illustrated in The De La Rue Collection edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 2551. Delightful.
