    1906: 5 c. dull purple, a horizontal strip of six used on reverse of 10 c. pink optd. postal stationery registration envelope to Ipswich endorsed "From Postmaster, Maldive Islands" at lower left, tied by MALDIVE ISLANDS circular datestamps in black (Jan 30, 1908). Colombo / Registered transit cds (Feb 16) and London oval datestamp (March 6). Sensibly opened for exhibit display, a fine and rare franking.
