    1932 (April 8): First Survey Flight India - Ceylon of the Indian Civil Aviation Dept. of the Government of India for the proposed airmail service between India and Ceylon: Envelope from Colombo addressed to the 'Assistant Secretary of the Civil Aviation Office' in Simla endorsed with typewritten 'Preliminary Investigation Flight BOMBAY - MADRAS - COLOMBO', franked with 9 c. and tied by Colombo meter mark (Apr. 8) and "Simla  13 APR 32 10.30AM" arrival cds.on reverse. One of only four carried, signed by the pilot Nevill Vincent on front.
