There are no slits in the cover and it must be assumed that it was forwarded from the Lazaret itself to Tulcha. A rarity of both Russian and Romanian disinfected mail.

    Don Army 1918: Imperial Arms definitives 7 kop. blue perf., ovptd "50" (kop.), very rare, maybe unique full sheet of 100 stamps showing usual fold between upper and lower half, together with a substantiating block of 24 on reverse and ten on front of these stamps on large part of a Money Transfer Order from Velikoknasheskaya (Jan 26, 1919)  to Dobrovsky (Jan 28, 1919) in the Don Region. Well written up identifying plate positions between the two pieces. Dr. Ceresa in his book on civil war stamps states that large multiples do not exist. Remarkable pieces essential to a serious Civil War collection.
