German / Russian bilingual despatch mark on the reverse, and Riga Polutscheno (received) in black (May 15). Eine sehr seltene Verwendung.rnDer Brief ist gerichtet an Oberst David Nüschler (1792-1871) im Neuegg in Zürich. Nüscheler war ab 1815 Offizier im Generalstab. 1819-24 Instruktionsoffizier, 1829 Major, 1831 Oberstleutnant. Von 1829-37 war er Zürcher Stadtrat (Bauherr), mehrfach Grossrat. 1832 schied der ultrakonservative Nüscheler aus dem Militär aus, weil er sich weigerte, den Eid auf die kantonale Verfassung zu leisten. Er entwarf 1845 und 1846 im Auftrag des Sonderbunds Verteidigungspläne gegen die Freischarenzüge.
