R. / Post / MAFIA" in violet, the complete set of ten values from 3 p. grey to 1 r. red-brown & deep blue-green all used on notepaper with the overprint heavily applied and the double ring cancellations of MAFIA presumably all back-dated as the dates range from April 30, 1916 to Dec 31, 1916 and tying the adhesives in black. Notation above "Capt. Caradini has bought this set of Mafia second die. I certify it as genuine and from my collection. The set if affixed in used state to the other half of this paper. Jnl.
